Near as I can tell, the guys were here for a short time today. The only indication is the missing sticky note that I left on the cabinet and the tape on the LED strip of which the note was about. I left other notes too, but that was the only that went missing.
We've also been experiencing some furnace-related leaking. Last week, when the head contractor moved the waterline in the bedroom, he warned me that there might be some water. He said a little was ok, but to let him know if it was really bad. The leak has been going on since last Tuesday, so I zipped him a text. There's a bucket now--not sure how to take that. The weather looks like it will be warm enough to not need it. Fingers crossed.
The bedroom is the same as Friday, but we were busy this weekend. The bathroom vanity has been here since Wednesday, but the guys hadn't gotten a chance to install it. The husband and I were desperately tired of going upstairs to do dishes, so we decided to do the install ourselves. We've done this before, it's not too bad. This install was a little trickier because the space is smaller, as is the cabinet and sink that we purchased. Nevertheless, it looks amazing!
And to wrap up today's post. We had breakfast for dinner again. I love our new range. It is awesome. The bacon, which used to take 20+ minutes to bake up crispy (if you're not baking your bacon, you're missing out), took only 14 minutes. And it was perfectly crispy, not overdone.
There's also this really cool griddle piece that we have, that has its own special burner. It makes the best french toast.
Now, I'm off to do dishes in the downstairs bathroom.
