Day Twenty Eight

It's interesting.  The longer this project carries on, the less obvious the changes seem.  The first few days were big changes, then a lull.  Then ten days in, cabinets--huge change.  Now it feels a little static.  For the most part, the big stuff is done--with the exception of the bedroom.

It looks like they sanded inside the former closet area, and mudded the upper part of the closet.  There's trim there now.  The contractor did a great job matching the style of the trim in the rest of the room.
Unfortunately, the trim is narrower than what was there, and I have to remove more wallpaper.  I spent a day last summer getting this awful baseball border.

I also made a pit-stop this afternoon at the granite shop.  The granite is almost ready.  I scheduled the install for Wednesday.  I was able to get a sneak peak of the stone while they finished it up.
