I had a feeling that today was going to be uneventful house-wise, so I saved some of the minor stuff from yesterday.
The hole in the dining room ceiling has been patched. Apparently, they make this spray bottle of ceiling texture, so the guys did their best to make it match. It's better than a hole in the ceiling, so I'll take it. I let the contractor know that I liked the looks of it. If anyone has beef with my ceiling patch, they'll have to take it up with me.

The roof guys came by on Wednesday, patched the chimney hole. So that's done and the big, ugly ladder that had taken up residence in my yard for a month is gone. But because the ladder is gone, I can't get a photo of that for you; can't win 'em all.
The lights have these nifty caps around them now. I didn't realize how lame they looked without it, but this is way better.
